Pinwheels in progress

Remember all my half square triangles?

Somewhere between class & work, I have managed to make a little progress.

You know the drill, squares into blocks, blocks into rows, rows into...

a finished top! Well, nearly finished, I'm going to add a border of some sort. I'm thinking just white... but maybe something in the corners. What do you think?

That dark red that's in the second square from the bottom right, maybe? Something vivid would give it a whole different "frame" and wouldn't show the dirt as fast. It's beautiful!

Oh wow...very nice!
I've yet to invest in a rotary cutter so quilts like this are out of my league!

I think a white border would set it off nicely with 3 pinwheel blocks turning the corners.

I am making a red and white half square triangle quilt too! I love your pinwheels! Prairie points look cute with this sort of pattern, but I've never made them, and I think they are sorta labor intensive. A white border will be lovely too.
