A few little updates. I've been looking at other places to get certified to teach ESL, and have found some new options... although these options all cost a lot more and won't take place for a few more months. Not ideal... but I've got options. I actually spoke with someone at one of the programs and had a very reassuring conversation about the course.

On the crafty side, I'm working on a new project for the M5K Decathlon 2008. I'm not sure if I'll get it done by the deadline... but I'm gonna give it a go. It'll be one of those annoying top secret projects that I talk a lot about but won't post.

To make up for that though, here's a kitty in the sunshine.
How much do you want to nom nom nom that paw!!!

I'm eager to see what you come up with for the Decathlon! I've been playing, but that creativity project is going to do me in. (Actually, the aerial photos already did me in!) At least I know my Presidents pretty well.

Actually, I want to cup that little cat snout and yell "Cat Muzzle!" in my special cat voice. And now you know the weirdness that is Bezzie.

i don't really, but i do want to sniff it. i sniff my dog's paws all the time. they smell like corn chips.

good luck with the esl thing. if you want to talk to a friend of mine who is currently in japan and had a hell of time getting there, let me know.

i'll put you in touch with her. or you can check out her blog.

Oooh... Jovial - I can't wait to see what you submit!

Bezzie... I just can't stress strongly enough how dangerous that would be. I mean, do you like having eyeballs?

thanks D - I will check her out.

So, I'm not the only one who munches on her kitty's cute wittle fuzzy wuzzy paws?

You know, my cat kind of smells like corn chips. I've never put that label on the smell, but it's pretty accurate.

Reb, you know that I wasn't trying to make you create a whole new item, right? Right?

p.s. That is one pretty cat.

p.p.s. I have now, only a week or so behind you, free-motion quilted a blanket. Sloppy, but educational. Pics soon.

You folks with your cats who smell like corn chips might want to check the ingredients in the food you're feeding them - is corn meal the second ingredient? Sally smells like cat. Sometimes she smells like smelly-cat... but not at all corn-chippy. Because of her allergies she has to eat limited ingredient food.
