Blush and Bashful

Yes some of you may have noticed a certain color trend in my projects. While I do have an affinity for the many shades of pink, it's not the only color I ever use.

This is, of course, my much loved everyday cardigan. I made it a couple of years ago and while I don't wear it every day... I do wear it quite a bit. And I like the pattern, very basic, easy to construct, and comfortable. I think I'm going to use this pattern for my next cardigan.

It's pretty. What is the yarn? I'm going to use the yarn (cotton fleece) I bought for the Dollar and a half cardigan and just make a basic cardigan like yours with it. The Dollar and a half cardigan started to bother me more and more. Something about those horizontal stripes...

I used Peace Fleece... which is a bit on the 'rustic' side. Lots of bits of hay etc., and it's a bit stiff to start with, but blooms nicely after washing & blocking. It's a good sturdy yarn though, perfect for outer-wear.

Sally is so cute, and what a nice kitty quilt.

I've always loved the wooden buttons on that cardigan.

Oh, and your kitty "quilt" is seriously ugly. Maybe Sally will wipe her butt on it.

I love your post title! That's one of my favorite movies ever. So many good quotes.
